PTFE Dry Lubricant Spray

A new generation of scientifically designed dry lube for all your moving machinery and parts.

Dry Lube PTFE Spray

Will be touch dry in under 1 minute, ideal when you need a quick-dry film lubricant unlike conventional oil or grease-based lubricants which aren’t acceptable or viable due to the strict manufacturing environment such as medical, food, dairy or beverage processing.

The best dry lubricant available for industrial engineering, manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical and food processing plants.

It improves lubrication efficiency, significantly reduces your maintenance costs and the accident or slip hazards in production areas. It is without doubt becoming the best dry lubricant for use in clean room manufacturing process environments where high temperatures, steam or spray operations are present or in clean room processing where consistent release of slow or fast moving machinery is critical. Dry lube by nature (dry lubricating film) does not throw off or leave messy over spillage which can damage or contaminate your process. Helps reduce the growth of bacteria in process lines.

Teflube approved NSF H1 standard PTFE Dry Film Lube for use in food processing environments.

Now used by many international companies in the drinks and dairy manufacturing processes including Coca Cola, Miller Coors, Heineken and SAB Miller.

APT Teflube dry, PTFE lubricant is specially formulated for ferrous & non-ferrous metals, plastic, nylon, rubber, moving machinery and parts. It is highly abrasion, chemical and corrosion resistant.

Used in the medical, food manufacturing, beverage and hi-tech engineering industries. It represents the best of new generation, high performance, food-grade lubricant today quickly replacing other high cost and time consuming traditional forms of lubrication.

You’ll find dry lube ideal if you’re in large scale industrial manufacturing of mouldings in the rubber, plastic, metal components', furniture, dairy, drugs, medical, aerospace or food processing plants when high temperature and consistent releasing is critical and wherever adverse wet conditions cause problems.

Coca-Cola UK have claimed that up to 100% improvement could be realised from slips, trips and falls in their bottling hall in 8 years.

Dry Lubrication is a sustainable investment enhancing the standards of internal and external plants and process environments.

Advantages And Benefits Of Dry Lubrication

  • A convenient, effective, one-shot PTFE dry lubricant film.
  • Food-safe in case of incidental user error or contact occurs
  • Reduction in surface tension and friction on moving parts
  • Improved standards of plant hygiene
  • Helps eliminate opportunity and of growth of bacteria
  • Drastically reduces lubrication costs and downtime and re application frequency
  • Contributes to more efficient operational performance
  • Excellent anti-stick property - saves time
  • Wide operating-temperature range (20ºC – 270ºC) suits most processes
  • Very clean in use – reduces housekeeping
  • Compatible with most materials
  • Reduces maintenance costs - add significantly to the life of your equipment
  • Fast drying - less than one minute
  • Long-lasting - cost effective dry film protects against wear for longer
  • Suitability - non-toxic for lubrication and release in a wide range of industries

Applications

The lubricating uses are almost unlimited and include:

  • Conveyors and rollers
  • Roll out tables
  • Finishing lines
  • Metal sliding components
  • Plastic and nylon sliding and moving components
  • Release mouldings in manufacturing in engineering, aviation, marine, woodworking and furniture

Reduces friction, surface tension and mechanical wear on your moving parts and components. Ideal for use on chains, shifters, cable reels, trolley wheels, sliding parts and components. The dry lube is applied wet but dries into a paste/dry film, preventing the absorption and attraction of dirt and grime, whilst penetrating into hard-to-reach areas to provide protection in wet conditions. Formulated with biodegradable and non-toxic synthetic oils, the finish line dry lubricant will keep your plant and equipment in working order.

How To Use PTFE Spray

How to dry lubricate ferrous and non ferrous metals, plastic, nylon, rubber, moving parts and manufacturing machinery.

First ensure a clean, dry surface. Either clean off existing lubricating fluid or lubricant grease with a food safe degreaser such as magnaclean bactericidal or for heavy grease use Microtec 41/80 solvent degreaser.

Apply a degreaser solution to the surface by brushing or spraying. Allow a contact time, agitate if necessary. Rinse, flush or wipe with a clean cloth. Apply dry lube to the surface, try not to over spray. Leave to dry and continue operation. For re-application follow the same process.
